Why we print these
Hiding a price is a negotiating tactic. It works on the customer who is in a hurry and has one system down, which in this trade is most of them — and that is exactly why we stopped doing it.
Everything below is the real installed price. It is not an opening position, there is no discount waiting for the person who pushes hardest, and the figure does not change based on the car in the driveway. Two things can move a number after we see the house: something we could not know from here, like a gas meter that needs upsizing or a crawl space that will not take a person. Those get named before work starts.
Replacement pricing for central heating and cooling is the one thing not in a table, because it depends on a load calculation. The instant quote handles that in about three minutes.

Before you decide
Do you charge for an estimate?
In-home replacement estimates are free, with no obligation at the end of them. Diagnostic visits on a system that has failed carry a service charge, which is credited against the repair if you go ahead.
Is the published price really the price?
Yes. It is the same number we would quote at your kitchen table, and it does not move for the customer who negotiates hardest.
Two things can change it, both of which get named before work starts: something we could not know from here — a gas meter that needs upsizing, a crawl space that will not take a person, an electrical panel that has to be brought up to code — or a change you ask for once we are on site.
What if you cannot beat my other quote?
We pay you $100 for the time you spent asking. The competing company has to be licensed and bonded to work in our service area, and the quote has to be for comparable equipment and scope.
How long does a replacement take?
Most homes are a single day. Ductwork replacement is usually same-day too, depending on access. A multi-zone ductless system or a job that includes electrical work can run to two.
What does the 15-year warranty actually cover?
Parts and labour, both, for fifteen years from the day we finish, on every system we install. The condition is the one every manufacturer sets: documented annual maintenance. Comfort Club membership keeps those records for you, which is most of why it exists.
