Careers

No commission
on a scare.

We do not pay people to frighten homeowners into a new system. If you are good at this work and tired of a sales script, we would like to talk.

What working here is actually like

Our pricing is published, which changes the job more than anything else we could tell you. Nobody here is negotiating, nobody is holding back a discount for the customer who pushes, and nobody is being measured on what they talked somebody into.

Call limits are set so a technician has time to do the work properly. Trucks are stocked and maintained, and they go home with you. The inventory system means the part is on the van rather than at a supply house across town.

What we ask is that you know your trade and treat people's homes and time with respect. That is the whole culture.

What every role gets

  • Top market pay, plus commission where the role has it
  • Health, dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with a company match
  • Paid vacation and sick leave, scaled with service
  • Company vehicle and fuel card
  • Company phone
  • Set call limits, so the work gets done properly
  • Modern inventory management — the part is on the truck

What we are hiring for

Comfort Advisor — Service Technician Service Diagnose and repair residential systems across the Midlands, with set call limits and a stocked truck that goes home with you.

This is the role that meets most of our customers. You arrive at a house where something has gone wrong, work out what it is, explain it in plain terms, and fix it. Our pricing is published, so there is no negotiating and nothing to talk anybody into — your job is diagnosis and craft.

Pay is top of market with commission on top, and call limits are set so the work can be done properly rather than quickly.

What you would do

  • Diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems
  • Carry out routine maintenance and catch problems early
  • Explain findings and options clearly, without a script
  • Respond promptly to service calls, including on rotation
  • Keep to the highest safety standards on every job

What we need from you

  • At least 3 years in the HVAC field
  • Valid EPA certification
  • A clean driving record
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving ability
  • Confident with HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Physically able to handle attics, crawl spaces and Carolina summers

Lead Installer Installation Run a crew on residential installations, with a company vehicle, a fuel card and a phone.

You lead the crew that puts systems in. The install is what the fifteen-year warranty rests on, so this is the role where doing it right matters most — and where doing it right is what you are measured on.

What you would do

  • Lead a crew through residential installations
  • Keep the job site safe and clean
  • Look after a company truck and the tools in it
  • Track equipment and materials on every job
  • Bring your own hand tools

What we need from you

  • Previous HVAC installation experience
  • Familiar with the tools and equipment of the trade
  • Able to handle the physical workload
  • Works well in a team and can prioritise
  • Good driving record

Installer Helper Installation Learn the trade properly alongside a lead installer. Experience helps but is not required.

The way into this trade. You work alongside a lead installer, learn how a system goes in, and move up as fast as you earn it. Several of our lead installers and service technicians started here.

What you would do

  • Assist the lead installer through the job
  • Help track equipment and supplies
  • Keep the work area safe and clean
  • Keep the truck and tools in good order

What we need from you

  • HVAC experience helps but is not required

Dispatcher / Customer Service Specialist Office The first voice a customer hears, routing the right technician to the right house.

Our reviews name the office as often as they name the technicians, which tells you how much this role matters. You take the call, work out how urgent it really is, and get the right person there.

What you would do

  • Take incoming service calls and book them properly
  • Route technicians efficiently across the Midlands
  • Keep customers informed about timing
  • Keep accurate records against every job

What we need from you

  • Calm and clear on the phone, especially with an upset caller
  • Comfortable with scheduling software
  • Organised under pressure
  • HVAC or trades experience is a plus, not a requirement
