About AAA
Dream, plan, do.
Roy and Dana Finley started AAA Heating & Air in 2006. Five Finleys work here now, and the values they wrote down at the kitchen table are still the ones on the wall.
How it started
An advertising man gave us the best advice we ever got.
Not long after Roy started AAA, he talked Dana into leaving her career to join the company. Neither of them knew the first thing about advertising, so they went looking for someone who did and found a salesman named Jimmy O'Brian.
Jimmy told them something that turned out to be the root of the whole business: you do not need gimmicks. Work out what genuinely makes your company different, advertise that, and — this was the important part — make sure those same things are what the company actually believes.
So they went home and wrote a list. It got long. When they proudly presented it, Jimmy praised the effort and then told them to advertise three or four and simply include the rest in every job they did. That is what we have done, and we have never changed them.
The belief underneath all of them: every home should have the chance to be genuinely comfortable. It should be a necessity, not a luxury afforded to some. Treat everyone with respect, and have some empathy for how frustrating this is when it goes wrong.
Holding to that meant doing things this industry does not do. Guaranteed financing, so a bad year does not cost a family their heat. Fifteen years of parts and labour, so the warranty covers the expensive half too. $1,500 for whatever is out there now. And printing our prices, which is the one that still surprises people.
Core values
What we stand for
The short list Jimmy told us to pick. These are the ones we advertise, and every job includes the rest.
-
Guaranteed financing
If your name is on the deed and you are not in bankruptcy, we can finance your system. No exceptions carved out afterwards.
-
15-year parts and labour
On both halves, for fifteen years, on every system we install.
-
$1,500 for your old system
Whatever condition it is in. It is a credit, not a haggle.
-
True Transparency Pricing
We publish what the work costs. The number on the site is the number at your kitchen table.
-
AAA Comfort Club
Maintenance at $12.99 a month, because the cheapest repair is the one that never happens.
-
100% satisfaction guarantee
If it is not right, we come back until it is. There is no page of exceptions under this one.

Comfortyze — the do-it-yourself comfort store
We are building a thirty-thousand square foot facility on Highway 302, across from Columbia Metropolitan Airport, with twelve thousand square feet of office and a full retail do-it-yourself home comfort centre attached.
The idea is simple and slightly against our own interest: a place where you can get advice from professionals for free, take a course in installing a product yourself, and buy the product in the same visit. Everything comes with an installation video and a written instruction sheet.
And if you get stuck halfway through, you will already know exactly what it costs for us to come and finish the step you are stuck on — because that price will be printed too. Every training course and every piece of advice is free.
Where it stands
Renovation of the existing building has started. Retail construction follows.

The West Columbia office takes walk-ins any weekday. Someone at the counter can price a job and book a visit while you are standing there.
